Stem Cells & Liposana (Adipose Tissue Allograft)

Wharton’s Jelly–derived UC-MSCs and Liposana® adipose allografts — regenerative biologics for foot & ankle applications.

Umbilical Cord Stem Cell Therapy (Wharton’s Jelly)

We offer advanced umbilical cord–derived mesenchymal stem cell (UC-MSC) therapy sourced from Wharton’s Jelly — the nutrient-rich connective tissue found within the umbilical cord. Wharton’s Jelly–derived UC-MSCs are among the most potent and youthful stem cells available, with a higher concentration of growth factors, cytokines, and anti-inflammatory signaling molecules compared to adult-derived sources. Because they are ethically sourced from donated umbilical cord tissue after healthy births, they carry no risk to the donor and have a very low immunogenic profile, meaning the body is unlikely to reject them.

UC-MSCs are biologically capable of differentiating into multiple connective-tissue types, including bone, cartilage, tendon, and muscle. This is why they are studied for use as a structural and biological support material for foot and ankle applications.

Each UC-MSC injection delivers a concentrated combination of mesenchymal stem cells, growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix components, administered as a single in-office injection. Specific applications, expectations, and individual outcomes are discussed during a personal consultation with Dr. Diltaj Singh or Dr. Shaan Singh.

Stem Cell Therapy vs. PRP: What’s the Difference?

Many patients ask about platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. While PRP uses your own blood platelets to deliver growth factors to an injury site, it relies entirely on your body’s existing healing capacity — which naturally declines with age. PRP contains no stem cells and cannot regenerate new tissue.

Wharton’s Jelly–derived UC-MSC product contains young mesenchymal stem cells along with a higher concentration of growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular matrix proteins than PRP.

Our stem cell treatments are performed in-office and are often paired with Class IV Laser Therapy and Shockwave Therapy as part of a comprehensive, personalized regenerative treatment protocol designed to maximize results.

Liposana® (Adipose Tissue Allograft)

Liposana® is an adipose tissue allograft derived from donated fat tissue. It contains structural extracellular matrix components, growth factors, and signaling cells.

Liposana® is intended for use as a structural cushioning and connective-tissue support material for foot and ankle applications. Its physical properties — compression resistance, mechanical support, and pliability — derive from the extracellular matrix and lipid components of the donated adipose tissue. Specific applications are discussed during a personal consultation with Dr. Diltaj Singh or Dr. Shaan Singh.

UC-MSC injections and Liposana® are minimally manipulated human cellular and tissue-based products (HCT/Ps) regulated under 21 CFR Part 1271, Section 361, and intended for homologous structural use. They are not FDA-approved drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Information on this page is provided for educational purposes only. Individual results vary; specific applications and expectations should be discussed during a personal consultation.
