Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Singh Foot & Ankle Healing Center (“we” or “us”) handles information collected through www.singhfootdoc.com. Health information we receive as your provider is also protected by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes your rights in detail.

Information You Give Us

• Appointment requests: our request form asks for your first and last name, phone number, email and a brief description of your concern.
• Messages: anything you include when you call, email or text us.

Please share only what we need to schedule your visit. We’ll go over the details in person.

How Appointment Requests Are Handled

Our request form runs on Google Forms inside our practice’s Google Workspace account, which is covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement with Google. When you submit a request:

• your answers are stored in our Google Workspace account and emailed to our practice inbox, info@singhfootdoc.com;
• we use them only to contact you about scheduling;
• once your information is added to your patient record, we delete the form response and the email right away.

Submitting a request does not book an appointment. We will contact you to confirm a time.

Text Messages

We send appointment reminders by text about 24 hours before your visit. Apart from these reminders, we don’t send automated or marketing texts. Established patients may also text our doctors directly. Standard text messages are not encrypted, so leave sensitive details out of texts if you prefer. Tell us anytime if you would rather not receive text reminders.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site: pages viewed, time spent, taps on our phone, email and appointment links, whether an appointment request was sent, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and how you found us. Google Analytics uses cookies. It never receives what you type into our request form, which runs inside Google’s own frame. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Other Services Our Pages Use

To display our pages, your browser connects to a few outside providers, which may receive your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts, for our typeface;
• Font Awesome, for icons;
• Google Forms, for the appointment request form.

Our links to Google Maps and Instagram take you to those services, whose own policies then apply. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles data.

How We Use Information

We use the information you give us to respond to you, to schedule and remind you of appointments, and to provide your care. We use analytics only to improve the website. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing.

How We Protect Information

Our website uses HTTPS encryption. Appointment requests are stored in our HIPAA-covered Google Workspace account, and access is limited to our practice.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should request appointments for a minor.

Your Choices

• Opt out of Google Analytics as described above.
• Ask us to stop text reminders.
• Ask about, correct or delete information you sent through the website. Information that becomes part of your medical record is kept as the law requires and is covered by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
